Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the AIIMSEE, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th class examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCMB) as compulsory subjects and with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% for candidates from reserved categories).
  • Age Limit: The upper age limit for the AIIMSEE is 25 years on the day of the examination.
  • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens or of Indian origin.
  • NRI Status: NRIs and PIOs (Persons of Indian Origin) who have studied in India for at least two years prior to the examination are eligible to apply.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The AIIMSEE is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of four sections:

  • Section I: Physics (120 questions, 240 minutes): Covers topics such as Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, and General Science.
  • Section II: Chemistry (120 questions, 240 minutes): Covers topics such as Chemical Bonding, Structure of Atom, Chemical Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry, and Organic Chemistry.
  • Section III: Biology (180 questions, 360 minutes): Covers topics such as Cell Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Human Physiology, and Ecology.
  • Section IV: General Knowledge (60 questions, 60 minutes): Covers current affairs, general science, and social science.
